Promisedyarn

Kidsilk Aura: 16-20 stitches and 19-28 rows over 10cm on 4-6mm needles. I've seen it categorised as Aran, but with that range, call it anything. Especially the promised yarn.

The Wednesday night knitting group celebrated the launch of the new yarn and mag with a visit to Liberty to fawn (and splurge):

It's got a lovely, pearly shine to it.

The lovely Melanie finished her Carolina... in Kidsilk Haze:

I helped Gail with her Clap:

I warned her I was all about the tough love: it had to be ripped back about 20 rows. But we got her back on track, and even pushed her toward the stitch marker-less route. Thanks for the help, Hels.

how come there's about 20 colours in your photo, and only 16 available on the rowan site? seems strange...
do you know if liberty have some kind of exclusive yarn deal with rowan? the red (second box down on the right, the most left yarn) is totally delicious!

Oh dear. Tough love didn't work. Try it in the best yarn in the world - the Blue Sky...it will all be better then.

I had no problem with the tough love, and thanks so much for the help - but have falled again at the next stage of the pattern. I HATE this pattern and it's definitely going in a bag in the corner for a while.
